The cooler southern climate of Central Otago is perfect for a variety like Riesling allowing all the typical characters of lime, white peach and the classic zippy acidity one associates with this grape variety to shine. In addition to this the climate also allows a greater depth and weight over and above the more Germanic styles. Excellent!
