Le Chapitre is one of Réné Bouvier’s entry level Pinots but there’s nothing simple about it. The vines are at least 40 years old and the fruit blended from parcels spanning Gevery, Fixin and Marsannay. 16 months ageing in barrel knits these wines together beautifully resulting in a deeply textured but not overly complicated Bourgogne. Great with duck, game or lamb.
