2020 Massaya Classic Blanc
£19.95
Massaya is the essence of modern-day Lebanon.
One of the great monuments to their art is the Temple of Bacchus on the impressive Roman site at Baalbeck. Although their ancestors, the Phoenicians, mastered early age vine farming and winemaking (anchoring Lebanon as a wine cradle), the temple stands as a tribute to the importance of vines in their culture.
A wine packed with fruit and freshness. The native obeïdi variety imparts a hint of easy-going eastern style.
Tasting Note: White flower, lemon, and a touch of nectarine. It combines depth, roundness, crispiness and an oriental twinkle thanks to the local obeïdi.
