This is a total head turning white Burgundy, like a £50 Meursault but produced in the slightly less fashionable Côte Chalonnaise just to the south of the Côte de Beaune.  Combining citrus, minerals and generous brioche notes, this boasts layers of flavour and complexity and is worth every penny.
