Charles Millot finished picking his grapes ahead of the rain and has made wines that combine ripeness with quite excellent acidity.  His village Meursault is the best that I can remember at the same stage.  Narvaux (not premier cru but better than many) is a joy, while the Perrières is restrained but you just know of the power and density contained within.  We could not resist including the Volnay 1er Cru on account of its forward sweetness and overall lusciousness.
