The young Damien Livera has made an outstanding collection of wines that combine (in his words) the best of 2009 and 2010. Harvest was easy and completed before the rains arrived on 12^th September.  These are generous, bold, sweet and muscular wines and have not been fined or filtered. The Côte de Nuits Villages is a bargain and tastes as though it should be a full village Gevrey!
