The base of the 2015 B5B White is Pinot Gris. While the wine is naturally fermenting in the foudre they introduce Chardonnay, Riesling & Gewurztraminer juice at different stages as a way of increasing the natural silky mouth feel while maintaining fruit vibrancy. The wine bursts with pear, almond and subtle vanilla flavours combine with a refreshing citrus kick. 13.5%

About B5B: Between Five Bells are the last three words in the first stanza of Kenneth Slessor’s famous poem, Five Bells. The poem is understood to tell the tale of the death of Joe Lynch, a friend of the poets, and is set on/in/around (it gets confusing) Sydney Harbour.
