The young Paul Zinetti has taken over the winemaking from Benjamin Leroux and has crafted probably the best range of wines from this domaine to date. I felt humbled upon tasting the Clos des Epeneaux which is Grand Cru in all but classification. There has been great attention to both the soils and working bio-dynamically over the past five years. If it were a Grand Cru it would rank in the top 30%. The Auxey Duresses is akin to a very good Volnay.
