A combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Barbera produce this lovely, dense, inky red that screams ‘meat!’. The Cabernet offers blackcurrant fruit with a hint of green pepper. Tannat (Uraguay’s signature red grape) gives the wine extra structure and more dark fruit character whilst the Barbera contributes a smokey spiciness. The grippy tannins are just begging for a nice bit of beef or mature cheddar. 13.5%
