Introducing Thom Mixed Case
One bottle of each of the following:
NV Clover Hill Brut
Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, Clover Hill is a delicious Traditional Method sparkling from Tasmania. Spending at least 3 years on lees this sparkler is rich, bready and ripe, perfect for if you like your bubbles to pack a punch.
2016 Chateau Capion Blanc, Languedoc-Roussillon
This white blew my mind. Think Chateauneuf-du-Pape blanc but heaps more. Copious amounts of ripe stone fruit flavours balanced with a tight minerality and perfect amount of spice.
2013 Monferrato Rosso, Italy
Piedmont isn’t just about Barolo! Monferrato produces stunning Merlot and the Marchesi di Gresi is no exception. Deep dark berry and plum is met with smoky, leather undertones.
2017 Moorooduc Estate Chardonnay
A firm favourite here at Caviste and I am definitely on board with that. Moorooduc are here to prove that Aussies do know how to make a great Chardonnay. Clever use of oak ensures that you get a great hit of nutty spice which entwines with tight citrus acidity making it clean and refreshing.
2019 A A Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc
A great value wine! This is a perfect example that South Africa is the place to get your Chenin from. A rich and creamy mouthfeel, flavours of lime peel and crisp green apple.
2017 Domaine Tourelles VV Cinsault.
Hailing from vines over 70 years old and fermented with natural yeast this red has so many layers. Bright red fruits are followed by a herbal savouriness. Perfect with a savoury lamb Tagine.
