Bright golden yellow wine, sometimes almost amber, after a few years of ageing. The aroma is intense, floral, fruity, incredibly complex, reminiscent of honeycomb. On the palate it is sweet-not-sweet, velvety, harmonious, full-bodied and powerful. 

Picolit is a very ancient grape variety which according to some sources was cultivated as far back as Roman times.
