Two brothers, Christoph and Johannes have taken over the estate from their parents and very quickly moved to organic production, natural yeast ferments and much lower yields. They have focused attention on quality and how they can produce wines that reflect their terroir. They produce around 120,000 bottles of wine. Many German Pinot Noirs are often thin and tart, not this one. Soft, supple and velvety this Spätburgunder just bursts with black cherry and spice.
