In contrast to the big beefy flavours of most South African Shiraz, Skipskop is gentle, approachable, crisp with soft tannins, spice and bright currant fruit.  Warm days give way to cold nights in this relatively high altitude vineyard, resulting in a wine that is more Northern Rhone in style than most New World counterparts.  Disease free in this remote location, the wines are naturally organic and exude all round appeal.
