Meet Head Winemaker, Ben Smith, of new local vineyard and winery Penn Croft of Crondall, Hampshire, and maker of England’s first ‘perfect wine’ (Oxney Estate Chardonnay, 20/20 Matthew Jukes).  Ben will introduce us to Penn Croft, which has already hit the headlines, and talk us through his first few creations including a Pinot Blanc and Bacchus blend. Ben and Mark Bedford will then host an interactive tasting session with wines from Caviste accompanied by Newlyns cheeses and charcuterie (not a main meal).
