An Italian Tour - Fine Wine Zoom Tasting - 31st July 2020

Friday 31st July - 7pm to 8.30pm

Mark Bedford will host and lead us through a journey that will start with summer whites from Sardinia, Puglia and Sicily before marching through some of the great Italian reds that will include Barolo, Brunello di Monalcino, Amarone, Punica's Barrua concluding with a generous glassful of the legendary Antinori Tignanello, the very first super Tuscan.  The evening will finish with the beguiling sweet Maculan Torcolato, one of the great Passito wines from the Veneto.  An almost complete Italian experience since you will need to provide your own cheeseboard.  A total of 9 wines all supplied in 100ml bottles giving a generous portion for two people to share.
