The 2011 vintage Staete Landt Pinot Gris has a deliciously perfumed aroma of pear, vanilla pannacotta, orange blossom, and apricot. The palate is broad with tropical notes, white peach and pear. This is made more complex by the flavours of toffee, cinnamon and vanilla spice. It is bone dry with a palate weight that provides stunning balance to a beautifully complex wine. The wine is delicious now but will continue to develop over the next 5 years.
