Ian Kellet who owns the property, has kitted out the winery with tanks and presses that I last saw at Krug, and the vineyards, all grown on pure chalk, are mature and beautifully positioned. This is a taut elegant style and isnÕt just better than most Champagnes in its category, it is in a league of its own. Drink now or age for 2-3 year.
