An outstanding Grand Cru Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on a 7 hectare vineyard in Ambonnay, 20km east of Epernay. Aged in 205 litre oak casks before the final assemblage and secondary fermentation, this is very much a fine wine that has become a Champagne. Soft and beguiling on the palate yet dry and refreshing. There are some savoury and spice notes on the palate making this a Champagne to enjoy with substantial canapes, or pate starter.
