The tall French Guillaume and the diminutive and charming Tomoko make and unlikely looking but engaging couple. Tomoko, original from Japan, was trained at Geisenheim on the Rhine and worked several vintage in Germany before coming over the border, finding a French husband and is now one of the rising but very modest stars of the Côte de Beaune.  No chemicals used in these wines, whole bunch clusters – great value, delicate and very real.  Wines for purists who want to feel close to the soil.
