Quite a sizeable 50 hectare domaine run by Nathalie and Gilles and now joined by their daughter Julie a qualified engineer and oenologue. Only one third of the vineyard area is Premier and Grand Cru. The Fourchaume is text book concentrated lime, minerals and viscosity – while the Grand Cru Les Preuses is on a different level altogether. 2.5 hectares of 55 old vines. 30% in oak/70% stainless steel it is fat and crisp with a length that runs for a very long time. The modest quite plain label of this domaine disguises a profound Chablis producer.
