A blend of two vineyards in the picturesque Omaka Valley, Marlborough – the grapes have been hand harvested and de-stemmed prior to a 4 day cold soak before fermentation and a brief period in French oak barriques – some new, some old. We love the classically bright raspberry and mocha flavours mingled with soft tannins and a slight ‘char’ from the oak. Perfect with light harissa dishes, aubergine, slow roasted lamb – even duck and well-seasoned poultry.
